The Review

With the Operations team growing and the business also growing, 2021 was dedicated to managing and scaling operations in order to support the company’s quick growth.

I’m quite good at managing work, managing people was a new challenge. Managing people is hard, but when you start to get the hang of it is very rewarding.

Programming Language(s)

I continued using and improving Python. I wasn’t able to dedicate some time to learning Go.

Certification

The selected certification was AWS. However, I did not do any progress in the certification process.

Reading

I was able to read 17 books in 2021.

Writing

Only published 1 blog post. Maybe I should read less in order to write more. Or maybe just write more!

Community

I did not start an open-source project. I didn’t find anything worthwhile to pursue or share.

R&D

I did explore Spawn. Seems to be a useful tool for database development and validation. For the future I’m planning more exploration (use cases) and some blog writing.
