Welcome to the DevOps Quest!
An adventure dedicated to the deployment pipeline, a blend of technology and culture that powers the software development journey from exploration to production.
This is the open-source initiative that I’ve long intended to begin. Through this quest, I aim to share my knowledge and experience in building deployment pipelines (CI/CD), document and promote best practices, explore new tools and methods, and keep learning as I go.
During the quest, we will focus on three main elements:
- Application: where ideas take form in code.
- Deployment Pipeline: the technical and cultural backbone that guides software safely from commit to production.
- Infrastructure: the foundation that sustains everything.
Other components – such as security, observability, and cost – will join the journey as the quest progresses.
This quest is composed of two main resources:
